¡@ Mainland China blasted the United States for passing a law which it said contained anti-Beijing provisions, saying it promoted separatist activities in the country, state media said on November 10, 2000. The U.S. administration recently signed into law the appropriations bills, which includes provisions for founding of a commission that is to monitor human rights in mainland China and report to congress every year. Mainland China would be a mainstream of Asia-Pacific region, the monitor in mainland could keep on its ¡§balance¡¨ on peaceful purpose. |
