Taipei set up three emergency shelters in Jakarta and mobilized the military for large-scare over seas evaculation mission in its final stage of preparations for a feared Indonesian tumult (May 19, 1998).

"We've conducted the final stage of preparations." Foreign minister Jason Hu said. "Hopefully these plans will not be needed, but we must be well prepared." he said.

As we have known; the three emergency shelters were the Taipei school for the northern, Hilton Hotel for the southern region and Java Hotel for the central region. The ministry has ordered the ROC representative office in Jakarta to prepare food and water at the three places.

"We have also asked Indonesia authorities to strengthen patrols in other areas where our nationals concentrate, we'll pay for such services. China airlines and EVA airways will each prepare two chartered planes for transporting ROC national back from Indonesia in case the need arises." Vice Foreign Minister David lee said.

Meanwhile; Beijing, May 19

--- Using a concealed camera, Canadian Television Network (CTV) has captured what it called the first ever documentary proof of torture of criminal suspects in police detention in mainland China.

The footago shows one man handcuffed to window bars being struck so violently that his head is jerked from side to side "say something", a man's voice is heard shouting. (See Enclosure)

Everyone have clearly found "Taiwan" is so much different from "mainland China" that ROC is not a part of PRC. Taiwan government love people as son, on the other hand, "human right" is nothing for "Beijing authorities".

However; Taiwan people love Chinese that is unmoved fact of personality. It is a pity, Beijing's arrogant, have made Taiwan people losing their appetite of loving story again.

It is my best wishes to mainland China that's urgently transform of communism to "democracy" and respect "human right" as respect to its government. In fact; the property of "mainland China" must be concreted by "democratic inside".
