Dear Mr. Prime Minister Ryutaro Hashimoto,

At the recent time; Prof. Nakamura will hold a press conference on June 12 to discredit a best-selling book "The Rape of Nanjng" by Chinese-American author Iris Chang.

The right-wing Japanese scholar said Chang's book "contains so many false descriptions and counterfeit pictures" and "all the Japanese survivors who witnessed the incident denied there was a massacre". According to history, 300,000 civilians were massacred when Japanese troops embarked on an orgy of destruction, pillage, rape and murder after taking Nanjing.

Such acts of atrocity were photographed by foreigners and reported by journalists. The rape of Nanjing was one of the darkest moment in World War II.

Now a group of Japanese academics is trying again to deny Japan's wartime crimes, a move that is sure to inflame all Chinese across the world. It means such kind of Japanese no shame and no regret.

We was already fuming at the release last month of a Japanese film which depicted hanged war criminal Hideki Tojo, as a hero. Unlike Germany or Italy, Japan is the only aggressor in World War II which remains unrepentant for the crimes and atrocities it committed against humanity. Why? The country acted as a giant in Asia, that can't to say "sorry" for post wrong history.

We always to find Japanese' arrogance; a Japanese historian, Prof. Akira Nakamura of Dokkyo university, defended the rape of Nanjing in 1937 by Japanese troops, saying the invading soldiers "actually restored peace in the city, and were acclaimed for their good manners".

All the destruction, and rape, pillage, and murder are Chinese soldiers tricks?

Striking contrast; if Chinese troops invaded Japan, caused of rape, massacre, and murder, would you have a tolerance to recognize that Chinese troops actually restored peace in the city and were acclaimed for their "good manners".

Our members and I respect you and your government; we are heartily hope Japanese government have a formal apologize to Chinese for its error post.

Sincerely Yours,
Yang Hsu-Tung.
