Dear Prime Minister John Howard,

We concern about the report from Australia.

NOOSA Heads, Australia, June 12

---- Pauline Hanson's One Nation Party has driven a wedge into Queensland's politics and divided the voters, except for one group---the Asians who say she has made racism fashionable.

The One Nation Party created a crisis mentality among the Asians, a siege mentality. Political science professor C.L. Chiou from Queensland university in Brisbane said Friday(June 12, 1998).

"May Asian friends are very worries." said Chiou, a Taiwanese immigrant who educated in California but has lived in Queensland for 27 years.

Hanson, an independent member of parliament, has called for a freeze on Asian immigration since her landmark maiden speech in 1996 when she warned Australia was in danger of being "swamped by Asians".

She describes Asian neighborhoods as ghettos festering with crime and corruption, home to Asians who do not want to assimilate into main stream Australian society.

"I do not want to go places that I don't understand the language or street signs." Hanson recently said on a radio interview.

In her 1996 speech, Hanson also advocated restoration of the military draft to raise a standing army to protect Australia from "invasion" from the north. Of course; she did not need to mention that. Asian is a Australia's north, no one could miss the point.

From above what's Mrs. Hanson had said, so, we have the questions as follow:

A. Australia must prepare to fight the north enemy of their neighborhoods?

B. Aboriginal have been assimilated into main stream Australia society?

C. The Australian society let aboriginal what kinds of living?

D. Every country of the world have a immigrator's tribe for keeping their specific culture and customs?

E. The lower criminal rate and lower income of working power, from Asian, in which help Australia to maintain a high level living standard?

F. Are the immigrants of Taiwan benefiting Australia?

G. Is this not the time for Mrs. Hanson to say about standing army to protect Australia from invasion from the north?

It is the time for Australian government to say how can we do help the "Asian crisis".

We celebrated the birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, because Taiwan continues to play a strong role in Europe and U.K.; we heartily hope to keep closely friendship with your country.

Sincerely Yours,
Yang Hsu-Tung.
