Our members and I appreciate your support our country---Taiwan(R.O.C.) that the House of Representatives jointed the Senate in affirming 19-year-old commitment of U.S. support for ROC sovereignty by a nearly unanimous bipartisan majority.

The resolution adopted by both the House and the Senate restates the principal tenets of 1979 Taiwan relations act that the island's future will be determined by peaceful means; with the consent of the people of Taiwan."

Meanwhile; Taiwan's bid to join the United Nations always the hard work for Taiwan people, as the mainland China's Foreign Ministry condemns the House and Senate's resolution as an " invasion of China's sovereignty", "the issue of China's reunification is domestic, and no foreign power may be permitted to interfere" he added.

"How to respect the people's will" is major routine of democratic game. Mainland China need your education.
