Some reports said that Taiwan¡¦s prosperity, democracy and security cannot be sustained if President Chen Shui-bian and the ruling Democratic Progressive Party continue to deviate from the letter and spirit of the ROC¡¦s constitution. We know the so-called ¡§constitution¡¨ isn¡¦t served for people, but government only. It belonged to Chinese people, not for Taiwanese people. But having served as the 10th president of the ROC from mainland to Taiwan. It is ridiculous to find that when ROC was occupied by PRC, the constitution still working in Taiwan as it effected on the mainland in 1974. ¡§The hypocrisy¡¨ on Taiwan was supported by ¡§past constitution¡¨ over lost government in mainland about 55 years ago. That why many Taiwanese people still refuses to identify themselves as a Chinese and rejects the constitutional spirit of one-China and the goal of eventual Chinese unity. |
