Dear Mrs. Madeleine Korbel Albright,
   Mr. Newt Gingrich,
   Mr. Trent Lott,
   Mr. Kofi A. Annan,

Koo, 65, leads one of Taiwan's largest trade association of industry and commerce, and is chairman of the ROC-USA Economic Council and the Euro-Asia trade organization. He also maintains wide and close personal and business contacts abroad.

Koo supports Taiwan's effort to push for the resumption of dialogue with the mainland, saying talking is better than confrontation. He urged the second-generation of Taiwan's business magnates to come forward to "do something" for the country.

Koo, as an ambassador-at-large, have said one of his major goals in the year ahead is to let the world know how wrong Beijing is to attempt to suppress and isolate Taiwan. Clearly; Taiwan new-generation can't stand Beijing government attempted to isolate and put Taiwan to unacceptable "one country, two systems".

In the view of ours; weapons plus money is not everything. It would became a giant power to destroy international law. Powerful country must follow the law of democracy, and respect human right.

Taiwan, mainland China are two countries, the only system is "democratic system".

According to mainland China's law is extremely underdeveloped, because the laws are only generally phrased, administrative agencies charged with enforcing them tend to draft their implementing regulations with an eye toward expanding their jurisdiction and powers. Bureaucrats have the ultimate power to interpret their own rules, because in mainland China, courts have no higher status than administrative agencies.

On the other hand; the WTO includes most of the world's trading nations. As signatories to the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, or GATT, they have agreed to abide by certain rules when trading with each other.

Among the many issues raised by mainland China's application to join the organization is whether it can adapt to the GATT requirement that all members administer their trade-related laws in a "uniform, impartial and reasonable manner". Mainland China can't meet this standard.

We love people of both sides. "What we want" is to get a life for honest.

Taiwan need your support!

Sincerely Yours,
Yang Hsu-Tung.
