The Philippines on Thursday (Nov. 5, 1998) protested to Beijing over military structures built on disputed South China sea islands and demanded that armed mainland Chinese defense works in the zone be removed.

The other reports Beijing, Nov. 5 ---

Mainland China said it expected "real deeds" from Japan on the question of Taiwan during a state visit by President Jiang Zemin to Tokyo on Nov. 25.

What's "real deeds" ?

A. Three no's.

B. No protect Taiwan when Beijing use force should the island declare independence.

Beijing, Nov. 5 ---

With the Dalai Lama readying peace overturn to Beijing while on a U.S. tour, mainland China scorned the exiled Tibetan leader as a separatist Thursday and warned Washington not to support him--- "there are no facts to prove that he is repentant." communist Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhu Bangzao said that.

News from Beijing; mainland Chinese police have refused to allow a prominent dissident to travel to the United States to attend a human rights ceremony and pressured him to abandon plans to set up an opposition party. Ren Wanding said Thursday (Nov. 5, 1998) the Robert F. Kennedy memorial center for human rights invited him to attend its annual awards ceremony in Washington on Nov. 9.

Beijing need your help to understand is "democracy" and "human rights". Democratic Taiwan will offer all the ways of peaceful lessons with Beijing.
