Dear Mr. Prime Minister Tony Blair,
   Mr. Kofi A. Annan,

Beijing has made its demands on Tokyo crystal clear: come clean on your wartime past and stay out of Beijing's dispute with Taiwan with a steady drum beat of tough talk, mainland China has shown it wants to call the tune at a summit that former mainland Chinese ambassador to Japan Xu Dunxin said would "set the principles for Sino-Japanese relations in the next century."

I sharp contrast with the "it's the economy" message taken to Tokyo by U.S. President Bill Clinton and other recent visitors to Japan. Beijing has served notice that center stage in Jiang's November 25-30 visit.

Mainland China has repeatedly called on Japan to clearly acknowledge and issue an apology for its brutal occupation of China in the 1930s and 1940s. It remains sensitive to periodic remarks by the Japanese right that white wash wartime history. Mainland China has also been pressing Japan to clarify in writing its stance on Taiwan.

Japan broke off diplomatic relation with Taiwan when Tokyo resumed ties with mainland China in 1972, and maintains low-profile unofficial contacts with Taipei.

In our view; Taiwan is a democratic country. History is history. Let's pass by pass. The old dominated system as mainland China, need to be reformed by new generation.

Taiwan is the hope of mainland China's future. How to respect human rights is our new generation's will , isn't it ?

Taiwan need your support !

Sincerely Yours,
Yang Hsu-Tung.
