All of evidence proved mainland China was tipping the balance of power with Taiwan. Stating that subduing Taiwan is a major short-term goal of Beijing’s military modernization, a U.S. expert recently predicted that the number of missiles trained on the island may increase to 1000 or more in ten years. 

The study of the PLA and for more focus to be predicted by many experts that Russia and Beijing could make a deal on the issue of Taiwan, if war attacked over cross-strait conflict that Moscow will support Beijing’s military action on preventing U.S. troop from protecting Taiwan against communist China.

A controversial U.S. plan for a missile defense shield appears likely to nose its way onto the agenda at a world leaders’ summit at G-8 in Okinawa.

In Taiwan side; we will make every effort to reach an acceptable and balanced peace agreement that would be based on international resolution. Nevertheless; main-stream of international power was interrupting by way of Beijing’s uphold political and military position.

There are many difficulties and gaps are very wide. We want to do a lot of effort and hard work to bridge those gaps.

In our personal views; G-8 is a summit of world’s leaders in which concerning about the issues of any kinds on critical conflict in the world, Taiwan issue is major agenda over Asia-Pacific stability, it needs more consideration to the question.
