A man trims a bush resembling a horse yesterday in front of the ancestral temple
of Ma Village in Miaoli County. The village is renowned as the site of President
Ma Ying-jeouˇ¦s annual ˇ§pilgrimageˇ¨ to hand out red envelopes. The emergency
topiary took place after villagers complained that the horse was ˇ§putting on
weight.ˇ¨
