Dear Mr. Vice President Al Gore,

It is my pleasure to write letters to you because of democratic Taiwan is more better than most of other countries.

How to let Mainland China become a democratic country which gains in peaceful world that's everyone's wishes. How to keep balance of Beijing military affairs to maintain world's harmony?

One of Taiwan living people, I'm self-confident the Taiwan-strait will unify under democratic system if the United States play an suitable enzyme. Mainland China have been transferring to open market. Political affairs are equal to business issue. whatever does; United States' experience is handling the "mentor" of "power center" of world on this century.

Mainland church organizations, however, say as many as eight million Catholics meet underground. The pope has often appealed to Beijing to recognize the underground church and let its members worship openly.

Bishop Michael Fu Tieshan, chairman of the Chinese Catholic patriotic association, said "We hope that pope John Paul II will cut diplomatic relations with Taiwan and recognize the People's Republic of China as China's only legitimate government as soon as possible, the Mainland Chinese Catholic Church has some four million members." (April 19,1998.)

Human rights groups have said the government(PRC) has cracked down on worship outside official religious circles and millions risk police hounding or arrest by attending makeshift "house churches" in private homes since the year of the Communist victory in Mainland China.

The other hint is;.........

"I have mixed feelings--whether to congratulate him or feel sorry for him, as a good friend and comrade, I should be happy that Wang Dan was finally released. But he now faces spiritual torture, another form of imprisonment, being banished from our own country." said Wuer Kaixi, who along with several other students joined Wang Dan in leading the 1989 Tiananmen Square pro-democracy protests.

The two real existence may be given a "chance" for coming US-PRC meeting in the near future.

Lucky day for you and your family.

Sincerely Yours,
Yang Hsu-Tung.
