Dear Mr. Vice President Al Gore,

I heartily hope you have a glimpse to the letter.

Taiwan was accused by Beijing for trying to woo economically troubled countries that Beijing is opposed to countries having formal political ties Taipei.

Beijing considers Taiwan to be a part of its territory without the rights and privilege of sovereign countries.

Vice President of R.O.C. Lien returned from Malaysia Saturday(March 7, 1998) declaring that relations contained everything short of formal diplomatic ties. On this reason; Taiwan is too strong to ignore.

More than 5,000 Tibetan refugees living in Nepal staged an anti-Beijing demonstration Tuesday (March 10, 1998). At the Baudha Nath monastery demanding freedom and human rights in Tibet.

Dalai Lama called for talks with Communist China to resolve the Tibetan problem; "Culture Genocide" Dailai Lama said that. On that reason; the Tibet is too weak to stand up. India gave the shelter for Tibetan under the name of "Big Brother" as U.S.; give what "shelter" for Taiwan and Tibet.

Taiwan want to talk with China communist and Tibet also. We need fair position on negotiating seat urgently.

So; at the end of the letter, with my best wishes for you and your government. I believe the human right is equal and U.S. is a "model" of justice.

Sincerely Yours,
Yang Hsu-Tung.
