Dear Mr. Vice President Al Gore,

"Working with China is the best way to advance our interests." "Over time, the more we bring China into the world, the more the world will bring freedom to China." President Bill Clinton said that.

We support Clinton's speech that is better to talk face to face with Beijing's communist leadership than to isolate the world's most populous country.

Meanwhile; some law makers say the trip should be scrapping because of alleged illegal campaign contributions from Beijing and investigations of the possible transfer of U.S. missile technology to mainland China.

In the view of my comprehension, business only for business, never sell "security" to untrustful opponent.

United States must insist something on freedom, democracy, and human rights.

With best wishes to you, and your government.

Sincerely Yours,
Yang Hsu-Tung.
