It is estimated that some 1,200 ethnic Chinese were killed and at least 200 ethnic Chinese women were gang-raped, tortured, and murdered during May's riots, which toppled former President Suharto.

It was alleged that the victims were aged from nine to 60 and some were raped in front of their families.

Meanwhile, earlier evidence of the brutal killings, were actually taken in East Timor, and the victims in these photos were reportedly East Timorese, not Indonesian Chinese.

From the history of Indonesia, ethnic Chinese women were raped and killed by suspected military program.

Despite scapegoat of ethnic Chinese attacked from mobs, that Indonesia government do nothing but drafting more limitation to ethnic Chinese.

However, the Habibie government finally ordered an anti-violence commission to investigate the event; it is very hard to guarantee the safety of all civilians.

We don't know how to help the Indonesia-Chinese, but expressing our concern about the chaotic period in May.

Nightmare will not withdraw after May's atrocities, in which the threatened warning was spreading out over Indonesia.

"Nowhere to go, only wait and see, we are not rich." a ethnic Chinese businessman said that.

It is very wrong to say that the Chinese who make up just 4 percent of Indonesia's 200 million people , are resented part because they control much of the economy and enjoy relative wealth. Four percent Indonesia-Chinese are Indonesia people living in Indonesia for about 400 years, government divided ethnic Chinese from majority of native Indonesia, and set up defenses between minor ethnic Chinese and Muslin Indonesia.

Ethnic Chinese control much of economy was tantamount to Indonesia's wealth. Ethnic Chinese want to be a really Indonesia, why government must give barrier to involvement of "religious problems"?

Justly treating ethnic Chinese and safeguarding their lives and property would help restore Indonesia's international prestige and attract investment, speeding economic recovery, isn't it?

On above reason, ethnic Chinese need your help, to leading humanity and support human right.
