Dear Mr. Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi,

Story come from Korea comfort woman is a wonderful love story and hate in mind.

Lee Yong-Soo, a 71-year-old Korean woman, weeps bitterly as she returned (August 22, 1998) to the

Taiwan Hsinchu air base where she had been forced to serve a "comfort woman" for Japanese troops during World War II. The purpose of her visit was to confirm that there were once brothel buildings on that site during wartime for "comfort woman".

Lee, who has never married because she felt bitterly ashamed of her ordeal as a sex slave, four years ago, managed to pass an examination and enter the Ching Pei university at the age of 67 to study international law and Japanese culture and history.

Lee said she has fond memories of Hashigawa (Japanese pilot). "He was always kind to me. He always secretly came to find me in the night and laid on the ground, singing songs for me." Lee recalled adding that she believed Hashingawa had sacrificed his life during the war. Lee placed two dolls, both wearing traditional Korean wedding attire, in front of the alter for a rite symbolizing her marriage to Hashigawa.

" I have regarded Hashigawa as not only my first lover but also my husband over the past 50 years." Lee said. "I did it the hope that knowledge in these fields will enable me to help other surviving comfort women who were once trampled by Japanese army cop with their difficulties and to force Japan to apologize and provide compensation." Lee said.

"Although I have bitter memories about the site, I hope the discovery of the remains of the former Japanese air force brothel will help pressure the Japanese government to confess to its past sins of forcing a large member of foreign women to become sex slaves during wartime." Lee said.

Despite; formal apologize from Japanese government, the Korean woman, loved Japanese lover, for about 50 years was respected with honor. But, on the other hand; how to do with Japanese government ?

Lee said she was deceived by Imperial Japan Military and was brought over to Taiwan in 1944 --- when she was only 16 years old, a child of na've, don't know about the "sex" --- but ended up serving the Japanese army as a "comfort woman".

Why Japanese government denied the truth of comfort woman ?

Sincerely Yours,
Yang Hsu-Tung.
