--- The Tiananmen Square massacre was the result of a plot by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Myanmar claimed, in its latest broadside against Washington and other foreign powers critical of the country's junta. "The democracy of Myanmar cannot be compared with those of America or Britain."

"Copying of the systems of the oldest democracy countries is not suitable for Myanmar" said a signed commentary in the official new light of Myanmar daily, the public voice of the junta.

"We should not forget the disintegration of the Soviet Union; we should (be) aware of the fact that the CIA was behind the Tiananmen Square crisis" it added.

What's reported is not suitable for Taiwan. As everyone have understood, Taiwan created political and economic miracle at Asia. But unfortunately; Taiwan was isolated by universe for a long time.

Taiwan was copying of the systems of the oldest democracy countries and made it works for this island. The world community should review the ROC case and find a proper way for it to join the UN.

How to let the ROC join the UN in accordance with the "universal membership principle" of UN charter deserve special attention.

From the review of history; the ROC was established in 1912 as the first democratic republic in Asia and was one of the founding members of the world body.

The UN deprived the ROC of its membership in favor of communist China by UN resolution No. 2758 at its 26th General Assembly, ignoring the legitimate rights of the ROC and its people to join the world body.

The UN resolution ignored the representation of the 22 million ROC citizens in the world body, and in organizations governing world health, environment protection, education, and culture. It is necessary to review the UN resolution, since the world situations have changed greatly in the past 28 years.

The ROC (in Taiwan) has developed into a democratic country with a popularly elected government. It is also one of the world's major countries in terms of trade and economic development.

The ROC has been as sovereign country since its establishment in 1912, although it lost a lot of territory in civil war in 1949.

If, our world have existed in human rights and its justice, please, don't let Taiwan alone. We need your support!
