Dear Mrs. Hillary Rodham Clinton,

The reports said; the United States called on the United Nations human rights forum on Thursday (April 1, 1999) to join it in condemning mainland China and Cuba for repressing basic political and religious freedom.

Harold Hongju Koh, assistant U.S. Secretary of State for democracy, human rights and labor, also denounced violations in countries including Iraq, Iran, Sierra Leone, Sudan and the former Yugoslavia.

In our views, we hope the 53-member state body to tell the truth and do the right way for examining abuses worldwide.

How to let Beijing and others governments to respect it for rights protected under the international covenant on civil and political rights, those who has signed but not ratified the text, a major human rights instrument, is the key issue, that worth to more concerning about.

Human rights, it means not only the freedom of conscience, expression religion and association, but also the right to a fair trial, to personal security, and to peaceful political dissent.

Anyway, not any one country can promise to hurt the human rights that including the country's law. We need your help to save the world.

Yours Sincerely ,
Yang Hsu-Tung.
